<br />
Good morning, crafting friends...<br />
<br />
This card was specially made for my dear friend Surbhi :) - I feel that the sentiment is exactly right for her.<br />
<br />
I am using the Natural Composition Specialty DSP for the outer layer - it is card stock weight paper, so I scored it and made it to resemble a file folder, wrapped around with a length of 1 1/4" Burlap ribbon (from the Holiday Catalog). I brushed the edges of the burlap with clear nail polish to make it stop fraying. I don't remember where I picked up that little trick but I can report that it works.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-ZYBxqhV-JMo/UnN1ltOEbqI/AAAAAAAADVM/084VQAGYoe4/s1600/DSC_6885.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="398" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-ZYBxqhV-JMo/UnN1ltOEbqI/AAAAAAAADVM/084VQAGYoe4/s640/DSC_6885.JPG" style="cursor: move;" width="640" /></a><br />
<br />
Here is the inner layer, which is a flip card - that I had cut using the Circle Thinlits die. Here is a little secret: It looks hard to make, but it is actually very easy. Fun!<br />
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-YC5CEitERBA/UnN1ma21-pI/AAAAAAAADVU/22VGXF_Jzv0/s1600/DSC_6887.JPG" imageanchor="1"><img border="0" height="394" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-YC5CEitERBA/UnN1ma21-pI/AAAAAAAADVU/22VGXF_Jzv0/s320/DSC_6887.JPG" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
The inside sentiment says: You just give, give, give... thanks, thanks, thanks. It is from a stamp set called Lots of Thanks in the annual Catalog.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
Supplies used:</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
Stamp sets: Tea Party, Lots of Thanks, Friendly Phrases</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
Ink pads: Early Espresso, Old Olive</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">

Hi there, crafting friends...<br />
<br />
Here is a stamp set that is fun and feminine- called Tea Party. The largest image in the set that I am using here coordinates with the Ovals Collection Framelits.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-xExh-DWajBk/UnNy6GhETWI/AAAAAAAADU4/Ts124Nki1_c/s1600/DSC_6893.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="316" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-xExh-DWajBk/UnNy6GhETWI/AAAAAAAADU4/Ts124Nki1_c/s640/DSC_6893.JPG" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
Here is the whole card, with coordinating patterned paper called Afternoon Picnic Designer Series Paper and Coastal Cabana card base (think Peppermint Tea- my favorite :) ) and a little stacked flower I made with the Boho Blossom punch.<br />
<br />
Supplies used:<br />
Stamp set: Tea Party<br />
Card stock: Very Vanilla, Coastal Cabana<br />
Ink pads: Old Olive, Baked Brown Sugar (for edges)<br />
Tools: Big Shot machine, Ovals Collection Framelits, Boho Blossom punch<br />
Accesories: DSP Afternoon Picnic, Old Olive 1/8" Taffeta Ribbon, Large Pearl Basic Jewel, Stampin' Dimensionals<br />
<br />
Thank you for stopping by today.<br />
<br />
Happy stamping,<br />

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Happy November, crafting friends...</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Halloween went by already! Last night the children in our neighborhood went trick or treating and it was a fun night out for both the littlest ones to the high schoolers. Needless to say, we have lots of candies lying around the house right now.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
So, the weather is cooler and it is so nice to be outside. I am thinking of pairing our In Colors collections (of Raspberry Ripple, Midnight Muse and Gumball Green) with the Modern Medley Designer Series Paper. They are available in the Annual Idea Book & Catalog and it is a classy Very Vanilla and Basic Black patterns.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-cBvaFDTP9bg/UnNo-vhqCCI/AAAAAAAADUI/E7TuRkdhCSE/s1600/DSC_6879.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="358" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-cBvaFDTP9bg/UnNo-vhqCCI/AAAAAAAADUI/E7TuRkdhCSE/s640/DSC_6879.JPG" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
Here it is. I made a trio of cards. The sentiment is from a stamp set called Feel Goods. I am using Jet Black Staz On Ink pad for the sentiment. Love the result.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-jBmsqOCxvm4/UnNo9xVrUcI/AAAAAAAADUA/6vLRyMQx2zg/s1600/DSC_6880.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="342" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-jBmsqOCxvm4/UnNo9xVrUcI/AAAAAAAADUA/6vLRyMQx2zg/s640/DSC_6880.JPG" width="640" /> </a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
Then, I added the little trio of embellishments on the right hand corner.<br />
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-48WZNjh1vxM/UnNo8jcMorI/AAAAAAAADT4/2ntYPwA0bs4/s1600/DSC_6882.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="318" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-48WZNjh1vxM/UnNo8jcMorI/AAAAAAAADT4/2ntYPwA0bs4/s640/DSC_6882.JPG" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
And here is what I added to the inside of the card, a little strip of the same DSP - I think - is a nice finishing.<br />
<br />
Thank you for peeking, crafting friends...<br />
<br />
Happy stamping,<br />

<br />
Hello there, crafting friends...<br />
<br />
This is a quick and easy card that I made last week, because my first thought was: wouldn't it be cool to make fall leaves colors using the Crisp Cantaloupe color. It is not quite the natural color it should be, but it still falls within a variation of it.<br />
<br />
So I started to work.<br />
<br />
I made a bunch of die cut leaves with my Bigz Autumn Accents die and Crisp Cantaloupe textured card stock from the Coredinations In Colors 2013-2015 pack.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-9HWesOprHoQ/Uku9B7pwKRI/AAAAAAAADSQ/cFsGRsW_Hc4/s1600/DSC_6691.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="358" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-9HWesOprHoQ/Uku9B7pwKRI/AAAAAAAADSQ/cFsGRsW_Hc4/s640/DSC_6691.JPG" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
Then, I turned to the new bundle of Tags 4 You stamp set and matching Label Bracket punch (from the Holiday Catalog) to finish off the project. Whoa! It was so easy to use. That makes me happy. (+ 2 buttons to accentuate the leaves). Done.<br />
<br />
My background patterned paper is from Sweater Weather DSP.<br />
<br />
Supplies used:<br />
Stamp sets: Tags 4 You<br />
Ink pads: Chocolate Chip, Baked Brown Sugar (for the edges)<br />
Card stocks: Crumb Cake, Very Vanilla, Crisp Cantaloupe textured Coredinations card stock, Sweater Weather DSP<br />
Tools: Big Shot machine, Label Bracket punch<br />
Accessories: Bigz Autumn Accents die, Brights designer button, Very Vintage Designer Button, Early Espresso Baker's Twine, Basic Rhinestone Jewels.<br />
<br />
Thank you for taking a peek today.<br />
<br />
Hugs,<br />
<br />
Liza<br />

<div style="margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-top: 0px;">
Good morning, crafting friends...</div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-top: 0px;">
<br /></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-top: 0px;">
Today's card is a little different, as you can see.</div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-top: 0px;">
<br /></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-top: 0px;">
I am using a new line of die called "Thinlits" that will take your Big Shot die cut machine use to the next level. This particular Thinlits die is called Thinlits Label Card and it makes a flip card (pretty cool! I first saw it demonstrated during SU! Convention this past summer). I love the surprise factor when the recipient opens the card :)</div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-top: 0px;">
<br /></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-top: 0px;">
Now, my dear friend/fellow paper crafter Lia's birthday is coming up, so I raked my brain for a special card to send to her. </div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-top: 0px;">
<br /></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-top: 0px;">
So, here is my flip card.</div>
<br />
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-zOgg9bzjhSU/UkpQWVMgITI/AAAAAAAADRg/oI8StJTxyfs/s1600/DSC_6684.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="clear: right; display: inline !important; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-left: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-zOgg9bzjhSU/UkpQWVMgITI/AAAAAAAADRg/oI8StJTxyfs/s640/DSC_6684.JPG" width="640" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-7LXAEF7fIuQ/UkpQXnxR9tI/AAAAAAAADRo/z3ybtAZKIf8/s1600/DSC_6683.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="370" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-7LXAEF7fIuQ/UkpQXnxR9tI/AAAAAAAADRo/z3ybtAZKIf8/s640/DSC_6683.JPG" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
You can make the flip card as is, but when I first rolled it out from the Big Shot, I felt it was a bit naked. So I added a card base to it. I think that looks better :) The die comes with little bits and pieces that you can use for your projects and this matching nesting label shape to go with the flipping part.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-TwP_IM7xSVc/UkpQZ4CJgMI/AAAAAAAADR4/yDM93ydsiOU/s1600/DSC_6678.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="clear: right; float: right; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-left: 1em;"><br /></a><a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-Vse08e9AYRY/UkpQYhckROI/AAAAAAAADRw/WhMY7QvaK00/s1600/DSC_6680.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-Vse08e9AYRY/UkpQYhckROI/AAAAAAAADRw/WhMY7QvaK00/s640/DSC_6680.JPG" width="640" /></a></div>

Hi there, crafting friends... It is October already! Happy October!</div>

<div style="text-align: left;">
This is my attempt at this sketch below from <a href="http://cleanandsimplestamping.blogspot.com/">Clean and Simple Stamping blog</a> (which I love to follow but don't always execute).</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">

<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
This is seriously a 10 minute card, I whipped up 3 at one sitting quickly. I finally figured out how to use the skull tape from Witches' Brew Designer Washi Tape in the Holiday Catalog. I paired it with a sentiment from the That's the Ticket stamp set and it makes a good pair.<br />
<br />
The background behind the sentiment looked empty, so I added a random splatter stamped image from Gorgeous Grunge stamp set. Done.<br />
<br />
Supplies used:<br />
Stamp sets: Gorgeous Grunge, That's the Ticket<br />
Ink pads: Baked Brown Sugar, Tangerine Tango<br />
Card stock: Naturals Ivory<br />
Tools: Ticket punch, Large Oval punch, 3/16" corner rounder<br />
Accessories: Witches Brew Designer Washi Tape, Brights Designer Buttons, Large Jewels Basic Rhinestone, Brights Candy Dots.<br />
<br />
Thanks for peeking.<br />

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
Happy Fall, dear crafting friends...<br />
<br />
How are you all doing?<br />
<br />
Crafting and blogging schedules are not as often as I would love to (as you can see), but I am grateful that we are healthy, doing well and thankful for whatever we have on our plate.<br />
<br />
The Holiday Catalog is <a href="http://www.stampinup.net/esuite/home/thecardkitchen/catalogs">here</a>, full of lovely Holiday inspiration. Goodies are available to order now.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-Rhec2nYwgWg/Ukk2_zorMsI/AAAAAAAADQ8/X9uPaENiXAg/s1600/DSC_6662.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="318" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-Rhec2nYwgWg/Ukk2_zorMsI/AAAAAAAADQ8/X9uPaENiXAg/s640/DSC_6662.JPG" width="640" /></a><a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-L9V7b4aU_iw/Ukk2-_jYx_I/AAAAAAAADQw/jKRuXmRGfl8/s1600/DSC_6670.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><br /></a></div>
<br />
Magnificent Maple is one of the stamp available in the Holiday Catalog. I am creating my own home made patterned paper using just one single stamp, and I am excited to report that the outcome comes out really lovely. My color combo is Crushed Curry, Tangerine Tango and Baked Brown Sugar. As you can see, I stamped it on a piece of 8.5"x11" Very Vanilla card stock.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-xJWNy1P26II/Ukk2-qjU6zI/AAAAAAAADQs/Tqw4lQbpvmU/s1600/DSC_6666.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="452" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-xJWNy1P26II/Ukk2-qjU6zI/AAAAAAAADQs/Tqw4lQbpvmU/s640/DSC_6666.JPG" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Here is the first simple and easy card that I made with the pretty maple leaves. My first Thanksgiving card for the year.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-L9V7b4aU_iw/Ukk2-_jYx_I/AAAAAAAADQw/jKRuXmRGfl8/s1600/DSC_6670.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="338" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-L9V7b4aU_iw/Ukk2-_jYx_I/AAAAAAAADQw/jKRuXmRGfl8/s640/DSC_6670.JPG" width="640" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
And then, I made another one with left over strips of DSPs (from DSP Sweater Weather- in the Holiday Catalog)- finished off with a Naturals Designer Button and Early Espresso Baker's Twine. The sentiment is from the stamp set Happy Day (in the Annual Catalog) - think I carted this one particular stamp set from this year's Stampin' Up! Convention.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Now, you think would't it be cool to create a set of cards from a whole piece of your home made patterned paper as a gift for a friend?</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Happy stamping,</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Liza</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">

<br />
Hi there, crafting friends...<br />
<br />
What are you creating this week? Have you been busy tinkering about the house and craft room and kitchen (not necessarily in that order) :) but that's what I have been doing with the kids at home. They have summer school only in the mornings.<br />
<br />
I have not been using much of my This and That product suite, and here is my first attempt. Actually, after I finished it, I think this is a cool card and this might just be my swap for this year's SU! Convention (I will be at Convention and one big part that demonstrators do is swapping cards and other paper crafting projects with one another, so I will come home with not only new knowledge but also new ideas as well!!)<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-itlWr-5tTco/Ubw48rftcLI/AAAAAAAADP0/cdLjAR0zwbk/s1600/DSC_6215.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="488" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-itlWr-5tTco/Ubw48rftcLI/AAAAAAAADP0/cdLjAR0zwbk/s640/DSC_6215.JPG" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
All the stamping is done directly on the Designer Series Paper. I cut up half of a Label Punch and it is becoming my "tag".<br />
<br />
You have heard me saying it, Washi Tapes are my new paper crafting BFF! You will be seeing it a lot. LOL. 2 pieces are torn up on the right corner there.<br />
<br />
Supplies used:<br />
Stamp sets: Feel Goods, Amazing Family<br />
Ink pads: Early Espresso, Soft Suede<br />
Card stocks: crumb Cake, Tangerine Tango<br />
Accesories: Label punch, Large Rhinestone Basic Jewels, Naturals Designer Buttons, Island Indigo Baker's Twine, This and That DSP, Epic Day This and That Washi Tapes<br />

Good morning crafting friends,</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
You will find this lovely Gingham Garden Designer Series Paper in the new Catalog and here are 3 ways to use them.</div>
<br />
1. Paired with Melon Mambo card stock and stamped (with Betsy's Blossoms stamp set)/ embellished office supply shipping tag.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-8cXE9p7oxr4/Ubw0e8l7ZNI/AAAAAAAADPM/oFskVUqk8eM/s1600/DSC_6201.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="554" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-8cXE9p7oxr4/Ubw0e8l7ZNI/AAAAAAAADPM/oFskVUqk8eM/s640/DSC_6201.JPG" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
2. Paired with Island Indigo card base and embellished with a punched out ticket and layered sentiment.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-GAmpoLp0XrU/Ubw0jV00J6I/AAAAAAAADPc/3o5Q99YHXHM/s1600/DSC_6199.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="472" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-GAmpoLp0XrU/Ubw0jV00J6I/AAAAAAAADPc/3o5Q99YHXHM/s640/DSC_6199.JPG" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
3. Let the pretty designer paper do all the work, I paired the flower pattern and the "stripey" pattern. They look really good together :)<br />
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-UnG9DogU3JY/Ubw0klo6-YI/AAAAAAAADPk/nCdPrYuD1JQ/s1600/DSC_6212.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="562" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-UnG9DogU3JY/Ubw0klo6-YI/AAAAAAAADPk/nCdPrYuD1JQ/s640/DSC_6212.JPG" width="640" /></a></div>

Hi there, crafting friends...<br />
<br />
I checked out the latest sketch from <a href="http://cleanandsimplestamping.blogspot.com/">FTL245 </a>and really like this row of banner on the sketch (thank you for the inspiration, Natasha).<br />
<br />
I pulled out the new Quatrefancy Specialty Designer Series Paper (in the new annual SU! catalog) and played with the sketch. I cut out a variety of length of all the different patterns, all 1" wide.<br />
<br />
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-hLYgrcQm7Pk/Ub_wnWu_BkI/AAAAAAAADQM/q0EeDSrP2oE/s1600/DSC_6220.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="clear: right; float: right; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-left: 1em;"><img border="0" height="454" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-hLYgrcQm7Pk/Ub_wnWu_BkI/AAAAAAAADQM/q0EeDSrP2oE/s640/DSC_6220.JPG" width="640" /></a>As you can see, I was having so much fun, I made a set of this!<br />
<br />
Supplies used:<br />
Stamp set: Perfectly Penned, Mosaic Madness<br />
Cardstock: Naturals White, Gumball Green, Soft Sky, Pumpkin Pie, Whisper White<br />
Ink pad: Early Espresso, Strawberry Slush<br />

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Happy Saturday morning, crafting friends...</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Today's post will be a little longer than usual, I thought I would update you with what I have been creating in my stamp room in the past week :) Let's start...</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I'm always in need of sets of cards on hand to give as gifts, so I am always on the lookout of different ways I can create these in all the different color combos that I can do that in. </div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
Here is my first set today, 4 of these in Wild Wasabi, Elegant Eggplant, Crisp Cantaloupe (the current 2013-2015 In Color) and Calypso Coral. I thought the 4 of these together feel fresh together.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-qb6vNWW7Nn4/UbwSpdU3ChI/AAAAAAAADOM/bHdFe4Woi8o/s1600/DSC_6185.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-qb6vNWW7Nn4/UbwSpdU3ChI/AAAAAAAADOM/bHdFe4Woi8o/s640/DSC_6185.JPG" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
A close up of the Calypso Coral one. I had embossed a smaller piece of Calypso Coral card stock with Honeycomb Embossing Folders.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-om-GVboqNwA/UbwSufdVX0I/AAAAAAAADOk/3ZWp5YCiYzU/s1600/DSC_6216.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="578" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-om-GVboqNwA/UbwSufdVX0I/AAAAAAAADOk/3ZWp5YCiYzU/s640/DSC_6216.JPG" width="640" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-top: 0px; text-align: left;">
Stamping the sentiment in That's the Ticket stamp set and punched out with my Ticket punch and</div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-top: 0px; text-align: left;">
layered it with the Four Frames stamp set and Decorative Label punch is a new and fresh way to use these together. Fun!! I stamped the frame in Bermuda Bay ink for a shot of brightness.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-om-GVboqNwA/UbwSufdVX0I/AAAAAAAADOc/ZJrprPc6HCQ/s1600/DSC_6216.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="clear: right; float: right; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-left: 1em;"><br /></a><a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-om-GVboqNwA/UbwSufdVX0I/AAAAAAAADOc/ZJrprPc6HCQ/s1600/DSC_6216.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="clear: right; float: right; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-left: 1em;"><br /></a><a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-om-GVboqNwA/UbwSufdVX0I/AAAAAAAADOc/ZJrprPc6HCQ/s1600/DSC_6216.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="clear: right; float: right; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-left: 1em;"><br /></a><a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-om-GVboqNwA/UbwSufdVX0I/AAAAAAAADOc/ZJrprPc6HCQ/s1600/DSC_6216.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="clear: right; float: right; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-left: 1em;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="-webkit-text-decorations-in-effect: none; color: black;"></span></a><br />

<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Supplies used for the Happy Birthday Ticket card set:</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Stamp sets: That's the Ticket, Four Frames</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Cardstocks: Calypso Coral, Crisp Cantaloupe, Wild Wasabi, Elegant Eggplant, Garden Green</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Ink pads: Bermuda Bay, Early Espresso, Soft Suede (for edges)</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Accessories: Big Shot machine, Honeycomb Embossing Folders, doily, 1 3/8" circle punch, Ticket punch, Decorative Label punch, Stampin' Dimensionals, Rhinestone Basic Jewels, Daffodil Delight 1/4" Stitched Grosgrain Ribbon</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Next up is another set of cards, yay!! I am getting my list done along the way with these. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-tU2BAM--FM4/UbwSuh5UKYI/AAAAAAAADOg/y0KBDMhSS1o/s1600/DSC_6197.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="426" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-tU2BAM--FM4/UbwSuh5UKYI/AAAAAAAADOg/y0KBDMhSS1o/s640/DSC_6197.JPG" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
These are: Wisteria Wonder, Tempting Turquoise, and Baked Brown Sugar (again, it is the current 2013-2015 In Color). Love all these 3 together and I am having fun pairing the In Colors with the SU! core colors.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I started by stamping the heartfelt image from the Layered Labels stamp set in Real red ink on Very Vanilla card stock and then cutting it with my Apothecary Accents Framelits on the Big Shot machine. Perfect match :) </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Then I embossed a piece of card stock with the Perfect Polka Dots Embossing Folders, raised up the "heartfelt image" with Stampin' Dimensionals.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I finished off with a button from the new Catalog called Very Vintage Designer Buttons, embellished with a bit of Pistachio Pudding leaves.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-B_WOaxANPSw/UbwSrkrdJMI/AAAAAAAADOY/MVFrVStQlEg/s1600/DSC_6192.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="482" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-B_WOaxANPSw/UbwSrkrdJMI/AAAAAAAADOY/MVFrVStQlEg/s640/DSC_6192.JPG" width="640" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Supplies used:</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Stamp set: Layered Labels</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Card stocks: Wisteria Wonder, Tempting Turquoise, Baked Brown Sugar, Pistachio Pudding, Very Vanilla</div>

Accessories: Big Shot machine, Apothecary Accents Framelits, Perfect Polka Dots Embossing Folder, Very Vintage Designer Buttons, Large Rhinestones Basic Jewels, Stampin' Dimensionals, circle punch</div>
<br />
There are 2 more card sets that follow: 3 ways to say "thanks", using bits and pieces on my desk and my new paper crafting BFF: Washi Tapes.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Hi there, crafting friends...</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I have been creating with all my new goodies :) I am using a background layer from a new patterned paper called Quatrefancy DSP.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
The Delicate Doily stamp image is not new, but a stamp image can easily change its look by having it heat embossed, it has that raised texture that makes a card feels special. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Also on this project, what I was actually doing was using up the little this and that that were lying around my desk :) Note the new Mosaic Madness stamp set and matching Mosaic punch. I am exploring it :) </div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Supplies used:</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Stamp sets: Delicate Doilies, Sweet Essentials, Mosaic Madness</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Ink pads: Early Espresso, Versamark (and Gold Embossing Powder), Strawberry Slush</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Cardstocks: Crisp Cantaloupe, Whisper White, Naturals Ivory</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Accessories: Large Basic Pearl, Mosaic punch, 2 1/2" circle punch, Woodgrain Embossing Folder, Stampin' Dimensionals, Quatrefancy DSP, Stampin' Dimensionals.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Happy stamping to you all! Enjoy.</div>

Hello there, crafting friends...<br />
<br />
What have you been creating today?<br />
<br />
I am using the current sketch from <a href="http://cleandandsimplestamping.blogspot.com/">FTL 243 </a>as above (which I have not played in a WHILE) and I have been pulling out new goodies from the new catalog. It's been fun to potter around my craft room while the kids are home (school year is over, summer has officially started).<br />
<br />
The new patterned paper is called DSP Gingham Garden. Yum!<br />
<br />
The stripe on the label die cut is from a new stamp set called Mosaic Madness.<br />
<br />
The sentiment is from a set called Sweet Essentials, and if you have not heard yet, it is 25% off this month. Cool!<br />
<br />
The "flower" is a stamp set called A Round Array which is designed to coordinate with the 7/8" scallop circle punch. Whew! 3 different stamp sets on one card :)<br />
<br />
I simply finished off with a few pearls and jewels scattered on the label die cut.<br />
<br />
Supplies used:<br />
Stamp sets: Sweet Essentials, A Round Array, Mosaic Madness<br />
Ink pads: Melon Mambo, Island Indigo, Midnight Muse<br />
Cardstocks: Island Indigo, Naturals White, Crumb Cake, Garden Green, Blushing Bride<br />
Accessories: 1 1/4" and 7/8" scallop circle punches, 1 3/8" circle punch (for leaves), Rhinestones Basic Jewels, Basic Pearls, Stampin' Dimensionals, Gingham Garden DSP, Framelits Labels and Big Shot machine.<br />
<br />
Here is another card that I made using the Gingham Garden DSP.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-17yjqCUEUEU/Uax0zZhVeFI/AAAAAAAADMI/VKkLy0Hmiec/s1600/DSC_6117.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="504" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-17yjqCUEUEU/Uax0zZhVeFI/AAAAAAAADMI/VKkLy0Hmiec/s640/DSC_6117.JPG" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
The cute tiered cake is from a stamp set called "Make a Wish" and then I stamped the sentiment "make a wish" over the cake (from Sweet Essentials stamp set).<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-rrtFdedXiVU/Uax0zZrsD9I/AAAAAAAADME/ZfR5wOd6a60/s1600/DSC_6118.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="640" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-rrtFdedXiVU/Uax0zZrsD9I/AAAAAAAADME/ZfR5wOd6a60/s640/DSC_6118.JPG" width="472" /></a></div>
<br />
Here is a close up look. Did you spot the button, that is a new item in the new catalog called Very Vintage Designer Buttons. (Love).<br />
<br />
Supplies used:<br />
Stamp sets: Make a Wish, Sweet Essentials<br />
Ink pads: Melon Mambo, Early Espresso<br />
Cardstocks: Very Vanilla, Soft Sky, Old Olive<br />
Accessories: Very Vintage Designer Buttons, 1 3/8" circle punch, Basic Pearls, Window Frames Collection Framelits, Big Shot machine, Stampin' Dimensionals, Glue Dots (to adhere the leaves), Gingham Garden DSP.<br />
<br />
Thank you for stopping by.<br />
<br />
Enjoy the rest of your day.</div>

<br />
Hi there, crafting friends...<br />
<br />
As some of you know, making my own patterned paper is my most favorite technique and I love to do this with any image stamp sets I have on hand. The best part about this technique is that you only need to make as little or as much as you need to. Very nice.<br />
<br />
I also enjoy the creating process when figuring out colors and placement on my home made patterned paper.<br />
<br />
Here is one showing By the Tide stamp set with the new In Colors 2013-2015. I grew up by the sea so this set makes me really happy.<br />
<br />
Supplies used:<br />
Stamp sets: By The Tide, Friendly Phrases<br />
Ink pads: Bermuda Bay, Crushed Curry, Crisp Cantaloupe, Pistachio Pudding<br />
Cardstock: Very Vanilla, River Rock, Crisp Cantaloupe, Pearls Basic Jewels, XL oval Punch<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-Esgbt4RCdVg/UaMbXjA_7bI/AAAAAAAADLE/l1G03BgHYEY/s1600/DSC_6060.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="480" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-Esgbt4RCdVg/UaMbXjA_7bI/AAAAAAAADLE/l1G03BgHYEY/s640/DSC_6060.JPG" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
Here is another one showing the same colors but I was showing my friend Carol, who came to visit last week that if you pulled out a different stamp set, you will achieve a different look even though it is the same ink pad colors. What a fun discovery!<br />
<br />
Supplies used:<br />
Stamp sets: Betsy's Blossoms, Friendly Phrases<br />
Ink pads: Bermuda Bay, Crushed Curry, Crisp Cantaloupe, Pistachio Pudding, Early Espresso<br />
Cardstock: Pistachio Pudding, Very Vanilla<br />
Accessories: Scallop Edge punch, Large Rhinestone Basic Jewel, Pool Party Baker's Twine<br />
<br />
Thanks for stopping by. I hope you enjoyed.<br />

<br />
Good afternoon, crafting friends...<br />
<br />
Last week my friend Carol came over and together we made these cards (and some more). Here is another teacher's card.<br />
<br />
We pulled out this Daydream Medallions stamp set with its matching Floral Framelits - together they coordinate really beautifully and do make "wow" projects.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-Mfp-2FGyQvs/UaMXIwzMjOI/AAAAAAAADKk/jaOVn44tDDw/s1600/DSC_6049.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="518" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-Mfp-2FGyQvs/UaMXIwzMjOI/AAAAAAAADKk/jaOVn44tDDw/s640/DSC_6049.JPG" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
Did you spy the new In Colors 2013-2015? I am using Strawberry Slush (as the card base), Pistachio Pudding (as the banner piece) and the new Color Refresh: Bermuda Bay and Crushed Curry as the Medallion layers. Dreamy colors. They are almost edible :)<br />
<br />
We both ooh and aah making these. It was so much fun.<br />
<br />
Supplies used:<br />
Stamp sets: Daydream Medallions, Family Reunion<br />
Ink pads: Bermuda Bay, Strawberry Slush, Crushed Curry, Early Espresso<br />
Cardstock: Strawberry Slush, Pistachio Pudding, Crumb Cake, Whisper White<br />
Accessories: Big Shot machine, Floral Framelits, Large oval punch, Woodgrain Embossing Folders, Large Rhinestone Basic Jewel.<br />
<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-c7FOM_rl_1E/UaMXKUJPJfI/AAAAAAAADKs/P1Hq-eMNzJE/s1600/DSC_6053.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="618" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-c7FOM_rl_1E/UaMXKUJPJfI/AAAAAAAADKs/P1Hq-eMNzJE/s640/DSC_6053.JPG" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
Here is another quick one that we made directly stamping on the patterned paper and the addition of my new By The Tide stamp set and more new In Colors: Coastal Cabana as the card base and Crisp Cantaloupe as the lobster. Yummy.<br />
<br />
Supplies used:<br />
Stamp sets: By The Tide, Daydream Medallions, Friendly Phrases<br />
Cardstock: Coastal Cabana, River Rock<br />
Ink pads: Bermuda Bay, Crisp Cantaloupe, Crushed Curry, Early Espresso<br />
Accessories: XL oval punch, Lucky Limeade baker's twine, large button, Stampin' Dimensionals<br />
<br />
Thanks for peeking :)<br />
<br />
Happy stamping to you.<br />

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Aww.. what a cute stamp set, isn't it? Just Married is a new stamp set in the Spring Catalog and it will be carried over to the new annual catalog (stay tuned! You can view it on May 31, 2013).</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I made this for my friend Yoshe is who is busy preparing for her wedding (hi, Yoshe!! Hugs) and I believe this is her wedding color combo :) Calypso Coral, Pool Party, Island Indigo.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Supplies used:</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Stamp sets: Just Married, Sweet Essentials</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Inks: Calypso Coral, Island Indigo, Early Espresso</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">

<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
And so, this is that time of the year when we make teacher's cards, here is a remake of last year's "watermelon" cards :)</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-zlBPBRbhghQ/UaLfZhZCxkI/AAAAAAAADKE/mgIY8WllOkg/s1600/DSC_5973.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em; text-align: center;"><img border="0" height="640" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-zlBPBRbhghQ/UaLfZhZCxkI/AAAAAAAADKE/mgIY8WllOkg/s640/DSC_5973.JPG" width="606" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I think this is self-explanatory. You do need a 1 3/4" circle and 2 3/8" scallop circle punches. Cut both in half and layer and the watermelon is done. This is so cute if you have young children.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
The sentiment stamp is from "Family Reunions". It comes with a "teacher" stamp. Useful.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Supplies used:</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Stamp set: Family Reunions</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Cardstock: Rich Razzleberry, Crumb Cake</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Inks: Early Espresso</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Accessories: 1 3/4" circle, 2 3/8" scallop circle, oval punches, Rhinestone Basic Jewels, Brights Designer Buttons, Lucky Limeade Baker's Twine, Brights DSP Stack, First Edition Specialty DSP.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">

<br />
Hi there, crafting people...<br />
<br />
Here are a couple of Father's Day cards that I had stamped some time ago. This first one is using a retiring stamp set called "Best Dad Ever", mounted up on a piece of Tempting Turqoise DSP and card base.<br />
<br />
The next one is a military Father's Day card that I made for a neighbor here :)<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-9U1EtCNnpV8/UZoyjjlhKjI/AAAAAAAADJ0/iFVpFMeDIu8/s1600/DSC_5977.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="640" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-9U1EtCNnpV8/UZoyjjlhKjI/AAAAAAAADJ0/iFVpFMeDIu8/s640/DSC_5977.JPG" width="582" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I stamped the different words from the stamp set "Words of Courage" on a piece of Whisper White Top Note die cut in different shades of blue.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">

Hello there, crafting friends...<br />
<br />
Happy Friday! Are you excited for the weekend? Will you have time to create something? I hope so!<br />
<br />
I have scraps of these various colors of patterned papers on my cutting area, that I thought I would create some fancy banners out of these :) I varied the length of banners so that it looks more interesting.<br />

<br />
Good morning, crafty people...<br />
<br />
Today I would share a stamp set and matching punch that have been used a lot in my craft room :) I love the coordination and a flower set is always useful. It makes creating quick and easy.<br />
<br />
This one is a monochromatic one in purple. I stamped the flower 2 times, then punched out the middle one on a piece of Crumb Cake card stock.<br />
<br />
I stamped the sentiment in Early Espresso ink. These 2 ink pads never leave my desk: Soft Suede and Early Espresso. Everything else gets put back on the Color Caddy.<br />
<br />
And then I embellished it with 2 buttons, a large rhinestone, and a piece of banner from a scrap DSP.<br />
<br />
Supplies used:<br />
Stamp sets: Mixed Bunch, Blessings from Heaven<br />
Ink: Perfect Plum, Rich Razzleberry, Wisteria Wonder, Early Espresso, Pool Party, Garden Green marker<br />
Cardstock: Naturals Ivory, Crumb Cake, Perfect Plum, Very Vanilla<br />
Accessories: SAB buttons, Early Espresso Baker's twine, 1" circle punch, Blossom punch, Pearl Basic Jewels, Large Rhinestone Basic Jewels<br />
<br />
Thank you for peeking today :)<br />

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
The card was made from pieces of patterned paper from the Fanfair DSP. The number 40 was die cut using Typeset Alphabet Bigz Die. Then, I stamped the word "fabulous" (from Fabulous Phrases stamp set).</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Happy with the result, I admired it for a bit then popped it in the mail :)</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">

<br />
So, here is a display that I have set up in a corner of my craft room. The display keeps changing, depending on what I currently create, but it always brings a smile :) This is a "Christmas tree" from Ikea that I had picked up during an after Christmas sale. I totally had this vision in my head what it was going to be and where I would put it, and this is one of those happy coincidences that the "vision" works. It does not always turn out that way, but this one is.<br />
