A set of animal cards

The recipient of this set of cards (I call it my animal collection :) ) is my cousin Susan. She has 3 girls, so I am sure they get invited to birthday parties all the time.

Hope you like it. Enjoy your Monday :)

For my friend- card set

Happy Friday! Going to be a long quiet weekend in our house, we all need a break after running around since our arrival here. Just some days to rest and be with family. Looking forward to no traffic in Jakarta because of Idul Fitri!

Here is a quick card set that I whipped up for our neighbor who had kindly helped us get settled on our arrival. They provided our first night dinner, made sure our apartment was comfortable and clean (that was huge! The AC was blasting when we stepped in the door after the heat outside and the long trip on the plane) and brought me to to the grocery store my first week here. I thought a sentiment "For my friend" would be general enough to work for any occasion.

Thanks for stopping by. You all have a good day, wherever you are :)

CAS12

CAS12 over at Splitcoaststampers today is using bits of ribbon. I had a little time to play today so here is what I came up with. The flower fit inside 1 3/4" circle punch which makes it a super fast card. Perfect as I want to make some note cards for my husband's coworker. A sweet lady that I met last week. A little later tonight I am going to mass produce this for her. It will be a little surprise :)

Thanks for stopping by, I hope you like this.

You're so sweet

Just whipped up a quick set of cards as a "just because" gift for a friend. I thought these will come in handy for her to write notes with. This kind of design would be fast, quick and easily mass-produced. Notice the envelope liner? That is the first time I did this. A great way to use up left over scraps and a nice way to tie the designs together. Just cut up a rectangle of patterned paper slightly smaller than envelope's width. Tuck it in. Burnish the crease with bone folder. Attach it to the envelope's adhesive. And you're done.

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you like the envelope idea :)
