Natural Composition

Good morning, crafting friends...

This card was specially made for my dear friend Surbhi :) - I feel that the sentiment is exactly right for her.

I am using the Natural Composition Specialty DSP for the outer layer - it is card stock weight paper, so I scored it and made it to resemble a file folder, wrapped around with a length of 1 1/4" Burlap ribbon (from the Holiday Catalog). I brushed the edges of the burlap with clear nail polish to make it stop fraying. I don't remember where I picked up that little trick but I can report that it works.

Here is the inner layer, which is a flip card - that I had cut using the Circle Thinlits die. Here is a little secret: It looks hard to make, but it is actually very easy. Fun!

The inside sentiment says: You just give, give, give... thanks, thanks, thanks. It is from a stamp set called Lots of Thanks in the annual Catalog.

Ink pads: Early Espresso, Old Olive

Card stocks: Very Vanilla, Calypso Coral, Natural Composition Specialty DSP

Tools: 3/16" corner rounder punch, 2 3/8" scallop circle punch, Big Shot machine, Circle Thinlits die

Accessories: 1 1/4" burlap ribbon, Naturals Designer Button, Baker's Twine, Etcetera DSP
