Petite Pairs

Hello there, crafting friends...

There is a stamp set in the current Idea Book & Catalog called Petite Pairs that I find very useful and I reach to again and again. It is a set of 20 sentiments that pair well with each other and make inside and outside sentiments on cards very nicely.

I made a couple of Sympathy cards here in the same color combo as my last post: More Mustard, Soft Suede and Pool Party.

A row of pearls on the die cut butterfly made it pretty and dry embossed it with the Houndstooth embossing folders, added a little bit of Victoria 5/8" crochet trim and a Cajun Craze button (from the Regals designer buttons pack), tied with Early Espresso twine.

Here is the other one on a Pool Party card base- love this In Color :)

Well, crafting friends... thanks for peeking into what I made today.

Happy stamping,

Liza

Birthday Card from Marlene

Happy Sunday, crafting friends...

I finally had a chance to upload this special birthday card from Marlene- which I treasure.

She heat embossed the flowers in white and fuzzy cut the flower and leaves. Thank you so much Marlene and thank you for your friendship.

Happy stamping,

Fun flowers die

Hello there, crafting friends...

I found some piece of Early Espresso felt while out shopping one day and cut it up with my Fun Flowers die to create these hand made felt flowers. I cut up a stash at a time and then had fun playing with them as you can see in the cards I made at this posting.

This one here is a card I made for my friend Gina who was having a birthday not too long ago. I layered it up with a smaller flower punched out with the Fancy Flower punch.

This one here is a variation with a background made from left over paper pieces.

And this one is just a simple one with the same color combo of More Mustard, Early Espresso and Pool Party (love the color combo). A dose of red comes in the red wooden flower that was a gift from my friend Ariani from one of her travels (I blogged about it here).

It was a pleasure using the wooden bird and I also really loved how the More Mustard 1/2" Scallop
Dot Ribbon turned out.

Thank you for peeking in today,

Liza

You Inspire Me

Hello there, crafting friends...

I am sharing something beautiful that my friend Sesil sent me. A hand made card in the shape of a pot and flowers :) A work of art, isn't it?

It is now hanging in my card "tree" (where I display cards that are sent to me) :) and makes me happy to look at it :)

Enjoy and be inspired...

Baby girl Beau Chateau

Hello there, crafting friends...

I had this pretty Beau Chateau patterned paper sitting on my desk so I am working on this one :)

I simply added a banner (from a piece of Crumb Cake card stock) with the Friendly Phrases stamp set, stamped in Soft Suede ink.

Two buttons tied with twines finished them off.

Thanks for peeking :)

Sale a Brate 2012

Good afternoon crafting friends,

I apologize for not updating in the longest time! Life has taken over with some challenges and changes in the home front and work :) (I am now officially a part time employee, which takes some adjusting and getting used to after being a stay at home mom for several years).

I hope to share some of my latest creations later, but for now I just want to quickly pop in to share the most exciting event of the year in the Stampin' Up! world is here :)

More info is on my online store here.

Happy browsing and happy stamping,

Liza
