Tiny teacup hello

Happy Sunday morning, crafting friends...

I have been thinking about using that Tiny Teacup stamp for some time. It is cute and it is polka dot :) Here is a Rich Razzleberry hello card that I made for a stamping friend. It is already in the mail, so I hope she likes it :)

And here is a Christmas card... I am building up a stash of Holiday cards right now... :) I layered the sentiment with the new Decorative Label XL punch and a Wide Oval punch. It is so versatile... it fits a lot of my sentiment stamps, so it makes quick creating :) The color combo is Poppy Parade, Garden Green and Certainly Celery.

Thank you for peeking in what I made today...

For my birthday

Good morning, crafting friends... Last Saturday was my birthday... I don't know what to say other than I am blessed and made to feel special because of the friends and family that are in my life.

Marlene sent me that hand stamped card above. Thank you, dear!! Check out Marlene's blog here for more of her hand made creations.

My dear friend, Annie made me that beaded hand bag above. How shocked I was to be the recipient of one, I have no idea she has such hidden talent! Annie, that is beautiful! Now, I have to find an outfit that matches :) Thank you so much!

This is a hand made cake from my friend Herly. Her sister made it. Herly baked me a batch of cookies, which I forgot to take a photo of. Check out those cute little lady bugs and the flowering garden on top. Those lady bugs did not survive very long, some kids have stolen them away before I blew the candle :) Thank you, Herly. The cake is very special and I thank God for our friendship.

This cake is a gift from my ladies' crafting group in Jakarta. The bell rang in my apartment and there was a delivery of a big cake!! Oh my!! For those of you who live in the Western world, it is a taro cake!! :) Thank you so much, girls!! I cherish our get together times always.

Lastly, my friend Karen, sent me this beautiful arrangement and a beautiful chocolate cake!! Thank you so much, Karen. Thank you so much for those special gifts and letting me know that I am so loved.

Thank you so much for all of you who read this and letting me share my creations with you. I wish you a wonderful day ahead.

Hugs and blessings,

Liza

M is for Marco

Good Friday afternoon, crafting friends... I hope you are ready to enjoy your weekend :) Today was a family day for us. My husband took the day off so we could hang out together because it is my birthday... sweet, isn't it? We will host an event at home tomorrow so we will be busy all day tomorrow but today is just us.

Here is a set of birthday card and tag / gift bag that we made for Mario, my friend Ami's nephew. Ami comes here whenever time permits and our time together is always special :) I think it sets off the Playdate Designer Series Paper very nicely.

I cut the M initial with the Alphabet Simple Letters die and Big Shot machine. Always a nice touch when you can personalize any project so easily like that.

Thanks girls for peeking into what I made today.... Enjoy...

Liza

Fall wreath

Good evening, crafting friends... this week is midterm's break so for a whole week my son is at home. Today we had friends over and mommies get together... (really, just my friend Karolina and me) :) he he...

This is what I made today, a fall wreath from a rattan wreath bought at the market across the street. I picked my color combo of Pumpkin Pie, Crushed Curry, Chocolate Chip and Crumb Cake. I pulled out my Leaves #2 which turned out to be a versatile die to have because I can make home decor with it... this is quickly done with Stampin' Dimensionals on each leaf. I made a few more for friends.

Love the result. It is hanging on a wall in the living room now...

Have a great evening, crafting friends. Thank you for peeking into what I made today.

Liza

Clock face card

Good morning...

Most often my cards turn out to be girly... so sometimes, like today, I need to make a more masculine type. I pulled out this Sense of Time stamp set which always works every time for this type of card. I will make a few more of these to have on hand.

Thank you friends for peeking in.

Liza

Jolly Bingo Bits

Good morning, crafting friends... my new stamp set from the Holiday Mini catalog arrived. It is called Jolly Bingo Bits, which has 24 pieces of cute little images in the set. It is designed to coordinate with the Bingo Card stamp but I have something else in mind when I decided on that stamp set.

I made my own holiday-themed patterned paper with those stamps. Here it is, with a Pretty in Pink, Real Red and Garden Green color combo... I love that cute little gingerbread man :)

The doilies are still on my desk and I have a whole stack to go through to last me a while ... Sentiment says: Peace, Love, Joy from the All Holidays set.

And while I was at it, I had this red glittery paper scrap from the Sending Love DSP that I incorporated into a holiday card.
I added a button and a Real Red taffeta ribbon bow.

Thank you for peeking in...

Liza

Altered book gift set ensemble

Good morning, crafting friends... Happy Columbus Day to those of you in the US and yay!! my husband has the day off today so we are spending time together (sans kiddos because they are at school).

I made this ensemble last week when some girlfriends got together to play in my craft room and we decided to make an altered book. We sat down to alter my plain prayer book to become a work of art :) So guess what... my head starts spinning and gets inspired to alter more books.

This gift is for my dear friend, Karolina who is faithfully covering me with her prayers. It is her birthday today (happy birthday, Karolina!!). Karolina made this diaper cake that I posted on my blog some time ago. Here is a grainy picture of us together (for it was taken with my cell phone) at our family's favorite restaurant. Karolina is on the right.

Here is an individual picture of everything:

Notebook is covered with pretty glittery paper from the Sending Love DSP. Spine is Early Espresso that I had added a scallop border and a pretty trim.

A close up look for the Top Note die cut and flower focal point:
I covered the first page as well to match the cover. Prettier that way...

Whipped up a matching card with left over paper:
The sentiment is from Oval All stamp set and thinking outside the "punch", instead of the designated Scallop Oval punch, I used the new XL Decorative Label punch (in the Holiday Mini catalog). The shape also mirrors the Top Note die in the altered book. Finished off with a bling, Real Red button (from Designer Buttons Brights collection), and Early Espresso 1/8" taffeta ribbon- all mounted on Stampin' Dimensionals.

Everything is then packaged into this Kraft gift bag and a matching gift tag, made from left over paper, card stock and die cut. Added the paper piercing there to finish off.

Thank you everyone for peeking into what I made today. I hope you all had a wonderful restful long weekend.

Hugs,

Liza

FTL111

Good Saturday morning, crafting friends... I had time to check the Clean and Simple stamping blog this morning, despite waking up late and checked out Natasha's latest layout as below:

Bright color combo today: pretty glittery paper from the Sending Love DSP (which is on the clearance rack!! score...!!), Real Red card base, my new Punched Posies hostess stamp set level 1, Pretty in Pink corduroy button and a perfect tiny bit of Real Red taffeta ribbon to finish off.

Here it is:
The Crumb Cake panel is raised up with Stampin' Dimensionals. I first stamped the top flowers with Real Red ink and then stamped again without reinking on the bottom. I die cut a flower from the Blossom Party die, polka dotted it with Versamark (the Dot, Dot, Dot stamp and Versamark never leave my desk.. haha...), jutted it out a little bit and raised it up with Stampin' Dimensionals.

The sentiment was picked because I have someone in mind that I am going to give it to.

Love being able to play today! Thanks for peeking into what I made... Great weekend to you all.

Hugs,
Liza

Leaves...

Hello there, crafting friends...

Here is a card that I made with the Leaves #2 die. There are 4 different shaped and sizes of leaves in that die and here are the 4 of them in different colors and textures. I love these subtle colored leaves lined up like this... :)

Thanks for peeking in...

Liza

So, enjoy...

Funky Four

Happy Monday, crafting friends... here is a card that I made over the weekend to send to a friend, using the Funky Four stamp set and In Color combo. I found that I like using these new colors, too... makes me happy :)

My card base is Peach Parfait, layered with a polka dot Peach Parfait paper from the In Color designer series paper stack.

The next layer of Pear Pizzazz is my own home made patterned paper by randomly stamping the wheat stalk image and the flower image in Pear Pizzazz and Old Olive ink. Pretty simple... edged with Scallop Border punch.

The focal image is a tree stamped in Poppy Parade layered with a Poppy Parade scalloped circle punch. Added the paper piercing. And then I finished off with a teensy weensy bit of Old Olive 1/8" taffeta ribbon, topped with bling.

I hope my friend Lia will love it and thank you for peeking at what I made today :)

Hugs,
Liza

FTL110

Good morning, crafting friends... so happy to check online this morning and saw the FTL110 had just been posted. Yay!! Thank you Natasha for coinciding with our Saturday morning here :) Here is the sketch below...

and here is what I made. Using my new Playdate Designer Series Paper. I thought those colorful flowers should show up, so I put them up front. I took the short cut (aka. lazy) route by cutting a 1/4 piece of Chocolate Chip cardstock and punched both sides of the edges and voila, it fits the layer without measuring :)

My card base is So Saffron, layered with So Saffron polka dot paper. The sentiment is Real Red card stock that had been polka dotted with Versamark ink, and finished off with Chocolate Chip corduroy button.

The sketch comes together quickly. Thank you for letting me play this morning and thank you all for peeking. I am now off to check what the others create :)

Hugs,
Liza

Doily cards

Hello there, crafting friends... I hope your week is going well... it is already the first day of October... doesn't time fly???

I have seen cards made with doilies around the blog-o-land but the first one I saw was Dawn McVey's here. This paper lace is beautiful without adding much weight and bulk to the cards. A perfect kind of embellishment, don't you think? The question in my head when I saw this was: where to get doilies in Jakarta? Until one day when I went shopping in a nearby mall, I came across one. I eventually bought 2 sizes: 3.5" and 4.5" diameter, with the help of my friend Annie who picked the smaller size one up for me... (thanks, Annie...)

So here are my version and this will not be the last. I have quite a stack of doilies to last me a while :) I enjoyed using Stampin' Up!'s new Decorative Label punch which is in the Holiday Mini Catalog. I stamped the medallion from the Artistic Etchings set and then over stamped the sentiment with Early Espresso ink.

I am off to spend some time with the kids and hope you all enjoy a relaxing weekend. Thank you for peeking in today.

Hugs,
Liza
