Owlie note holder

Good morning, crafting friends...

The cutest thing ever, isn't it?

This is a note holder from my friend/ fellow crafter Dede that she made for me. How wonderful is that pair of Mr. and Mrs. Owlie :)

Mr. Owlie has the tiniest little buttons on his shirt, that Dede has painstakingly attached one by one. How special. Thank you so much!! I am gonna miss you when you move back to Virginia, Dede!!

Hugs,

Liza

Random

Hello there, crafting friends...

I am sharing just a few random cards today that I have not shared. I hope you enjoy...

This is a color combo that I love looking at: Soft Suede and Daffodil Delight. The ready made tag is called Side Notes: Attic Boutique, it is in the Occasions Mini Catalog. I have enjoyed using them all. And the Baker's Twine, I use them on everything these days :)

This one is a left over from a patterned paper that I made a while ago using the Flower Fest stamp set. I love the crayon look :) My card base is Blushing Bride, every image on the patterned paper was stamped with the In Color 2011-2013.

And then I simply finished off with the Poppy Parade card base and Lucky Limeade Baker's Twine.

Thanks for peeking, crafting friends... Enjoy the rest of your week.

Happiest Birthday Wishes

Hello there crafting friends... Happy Saturday. Are you pottering about in your craft corner?

I am having fun with the pretty DSP that comes with Sale a Bration this year called Everyday Enchantment. It is so yummy :) There is still time to get one if this catches your fancy, Sale a Bration is still going on until March 31, 2012.

The color combo is so fun, Poppy Parade and Pool Party. I added a tiny pink button from the Twitterpatted Designer Buttons pack, a Jelly Bean Brad from the Sweet Shop collection and Island Indigo Baker's Twine.

The Pool Party "stripe" on the Label die comes from Fresh Vintage stamp set.

Thanks for peeking...

Blossom Builders 2

Hello there, crafting friends...

Today is a public holiday here so we are resting at home.

I haven't shared the rest of the cards that I made with the Blossom Builders kit. They are so pretty to look at and so fun to make.

I used the First Edition Speciality Designer Series Paper for the background of all of them. This one below is for my faraway friend Lia who needs cheering up! (hugs).

The tag behind the flower was made with the 2-tag die, stamped with polka dot from the Confetti stamp set, which is a perfect stamp set to add to any blank spot when you want some texture but not too overwhelming.

The Baja Breeze flower was stamped with the Mixed Bunch stamp set and punched with the Blossom punch (both products are in the Occasions Mini Catalog). They come out so pretty.

The swirly flower at the background is from the Sale a Bration stamp set called Fresh Vintage, stamped in Poppy Parade ink.

Island Indigo twine finished off the card.

Have a relaxing weekend, crafting friends... and happy stamping.

Spring Fever

Hello there, crafting friends...

I hope your weekend is relaxing :)

I saw this latest FTL 181 sketch over at the Clean and Simple Stamping blog and thought, what a cute sketch and trendy, too!

So, of course I gotta play along.

I was just breaking open a new Simply Scrappin' kit called Spring Fever that is in the Occasions Mini Catalog, which comes with this happy color combo of Melon Mambo, Pear Pizzazz and Daffodil Delight.

Quick and simple, here is my version:

The pink blings are from Designer Printed Kit Blossom Builders, sentiment is from Delightful Dozen stamp set.

Thank you for peeking...

Sweet Shop

Hello, hello crafting friends.. !!

Now, Sweet Shop is such a sweet title, isn't it? This refers to a product suite in the Occasions Mini catalog that feature a cupcake and sweets themed designer series paper and matching stickers.

Here they are, they look so yummy and happy!! This is another one that makes me super happy to look at these after I finish making them :)

I love that cupcake backgraound paper and I added a little pink button from the Twitterpatted Designer Buttons pack.

What a happy color combo, too :) The sentiment comes from Up, Up and Away stamp set. Lucky Limeade baker's twine and Basic Rhinestones finish these up. They are the perfect kind of embellishments because they go with everything.

Thank you for letting me share.

Happy stamping,

Liza

Mixed Bunch trio

Hi there, crafting friends ... I hope you are enjoying your weekend so far :)

Here are a trio of cards that I made with bits and pieces of my left over Mixed Bunch home made patterned paper (they are so precious that I saved them) .. (smile)...

This one is decorated with the matching Blossom Punch. I stamped the flower image from Mixed Bunch stamp set in Calypso Coral ink on a piece of Blushing Bride card stock and punched it out.

That cutie little blue button is from a button pack called Twitterpatted (in the Occasions Mini catalog), while the sentiment is from a free Sale a Bration stamp set called Elementary Elegance.

Here is my last of the trio which is finished off with a Concord Crush ribbon and sentiment in the same ink color.

Thank you for stopping by. Happy stamping to you.

Mixed Bunch

Happy March, crafting friends... :) My, it is already March!!

Did you see my new home made patterned paper above? I don't know about you, but I am always super excited when I see the results of a stamped out DIY patterned paper. This one comes from a new stamp set in the Occasions Mini catalog called Mixed Bunch and oh my, I love this color combo of Concord Crush, Calypso Coral, Lucky Limeade and Island Indigo. So vibrant and happy. Yay!!

It was created on a piece of Very Vanilla card stock.

Here is one of the cards I made with it, cut up and mounted on a Concord Crush card base. I added Dazzling Details glitter on the flower center, if you can see it from the photo.

Just simply finished it off with Calypso Coral baker's twine and a pearl on the sentiment.

Hope you like it and thanks for letting me share.

Happy stamping...
