Blossom Builders

Hello stampers,

I have not been playing along in the FTL sketch- so... I am happy that I can do that today :) Here is the current one FTL179.

I have just gotten this package of beautiful flower embellishments called Blossom Builders (in the Occasions Mini Catalog).

As you can see, I assembled these together into my own unique flowers. I like to do that sometimes, making my own pre made embellishments - ready to go on my desk.

Here is my take on the sketch:

The little pink gems come with the Blossom Builders pack. I added Pool Party twine to finish it off.

Thank you for letting me share,

Happy stamping,

Liza

Happy Mail day :)

Good afternoon...

Have you had one of those Happy Mail day lately? Something in the mail that brought a big smile ... I just had one last week and it came in the shape of these colorful fabric tapes. All the way from Beijing where my dear friend/ fellow crafter Coline lives. Aren't these the yummiest things? Thank you so much, Coline!!

These are what I came up with so far :) So fun :)

This stamp image reminds me of my son and daughter :) Perfect to have in my stash.

Thank you for peeking...

Rue des Fleurs

Hello there, crafting friends...

I adore this color combo of Poppy Parade, Pool Party and Lucky Limeade. They just make me so happy :)

I thought this would also be a quick demoable card, if you are looking for a quick workshop ideas. This is using a new stamp set in the Occasions Mini catalog called Rue des Fleurs. I paired with a sentiment stamp from the Friendly Phrases stamp set.

Next up is a card using the Attic Boutique DSP as a background. I kept everything else simple to bring out the pretty paper. Just a Victoria lace ribbon and a Large Pearl Basic Jewel to finish off.

This one is the other end of the same DSP. Finished off with button and twine, Chantilly lace ribbon and a border medallion image from the Rue des Fleurs stamp set...

... and a large pearl.

Hope you enjoyed what I made today. Thank you for peeking in,

Liza

Sprinkled Expressions

Hello there, crafting friends...

Have you got your Sprinkled Expressions stamp set yet? It is part of the 2012 Sale a Bration items and it is sooo cute :)

I set it aside on my stamping desk to play around with it and I came with 2 different types of home made patterned papers and I am so pleased!!

Here are the finished cards from my stamped patterned paper:

Did you see that tiny butterfly brad? It is also a free Sale a Bration item from the Ribbon & Brad pack. Too cute, isn't it?

I added a layer of First Edition Specialty DSP. I found that that paper is so versatile, go with everything type of paper, I can add it on everything... Love that.

Note on making your own home made patterned paper: it does not have to be on Whisper White or Very Vanilla card stock. Go ahead and play around with other colored cardstocks. The star paper was using a Peach Parfait card stock and I think it turned out pretty. Works for men and women.

Thank you for peeking in what I made today. Have a great day to you all ...

Side Notes: Attic Boutique

Happy Monday morning, crafting friends...

There is a very pretty pack of ready made die cuts in the Occasions Mini called Side Notes: Attic Boutique. The pack comes with various sizes and shapes of journals and tags that are matching with the Attic Boutique DSP.

I bought one and here are a few ways I am incorporating them in my cards. I hope it inspires... :)

I am using left over scrap as the background, tied with twine and spritzed with the Calypso Coral marker with my Spritzer Tool.

This one is using its matching Attic Boutique DSP. Love that DSP as well, vintage yet colorful.

Another one with torn up layer. A note when you tear paper, always tear it towards you so that the fiber will show. I really like that look and you see that I use it often :)

This ticket shape is so cute :) Sentiment is from Friendly Phrases stamp set. What a cute font combination...

Thanks for peeking and wishing you all a wonderful week ahead.

Take It to Heart

Happy Saturday, crafting friends...
My friend/ neighbor Ana came over to visit one afternoon this week and we made a couple quick projects, one of them is this Valentine's card using the Take It to Heart stamp set and matching Framelits Dies: Hearts Collection (in the current Occasions Mini catalog).

The image was first stamped in Island Indigo ink, then die cut with the heart die. I added that pretty Poppy Parade brad that is part of the Everyday Enchantment Ribbon & Brad Pack (which is a FREE Sale a Bration 2012 item).

My card base is Blushing Bride and the torn up layer behind the focal point is Pool Party from the In Color 2011-2013 DSP Stack. Then I finished off with an Island Indigo ribbon.

Here is another quick sample of the same stamp set inside a Framelits Dies: Labels Collection. Pink button is from Twitterpatted Designer Buttons pack and I finished off with a spray of Blushing Bride Smooch Spritz.

Thanks for peeking and enjoy the rest of your weekend,

Liza

Happy Valentine's Day

Hi there, crafting friends...

I have more Valentine's Day card to share :)

This is a simple card that is easy to mass produce. I actually made several of these. The easy part was just punching out the silver hearts and sponged them with Soft Suede ink to make them vintage style :)

First Edition Specialty DSP was the background. And I used a Cherry Cobbler card stock as the card base.

You can also swap out the hearts into other shapes to suit the occasion.

Hope you like it.

Framelits Dies: Labels Collection

Good evening, crafting friends...

There is a set of dies in the Occasions Mini called the Labels Collection. It is a set of 6 dies in the shape of the frame above in 6 sizes. I can just use them on everything!

I precut a stack of these and put them aside on my desk for when I am ready to use them. I love doing that.

Today's card is a simple one, stamped with 3 vintage style hearts from a stamp set called Take It to Heart in Poppy Parade ink. I layered a Poppy Parade scallop circle behind it stamped with the swirls from the Fresh Vintage stamp set to add texture to it. And then finished off with the Calypso Coral twine.

Thanks for peeking today...

Pines & Poinsettias

Good evening crafting friends...

A couple months ago, a few of us stampers got together to make red white and blue cards to raise fund for a local children cancer ward here.

Here is one that Dana made, it was using the Pines and Poinsettias stamp set in the Holiday Mini paired with sentiments from Herb Expressions stamp set. I really like the white layer on a white card base (Naturals White). Really pretty!

Thank you Dana for sharing your creations and talents with us.

Hugs,

Liza

Precious Butterflies

Hello there, crafting friends...

I made my own patterned paper with this Precious Butterflies stamp set (from the hostess merchandise list in the Idea Book & Catalog) some time ago when my friend Sesil came over to visit.

So, I got around to using the home made patterned paper on these cards today. More sympathy cards (as I want to have some on hand).

I paired this one with a Peach Parfait card base, a square of patterned paper from the Beau Chateau DSP and a paper doily.

Little details that I did with the sentiment, strip of ribbon and pearls and a button to make it special :)

Happy creating to you all, hope this inspires.

Everyday Enchantment DSP

Good evening crafting friends... Ready for the weekend? I hope yours is relaxing!

I am on Valentine's Day mode, as you can see and playing with the goodies in the Occasions Mini Catalog and Sale a Bration 2012!

All the patterned papers I used today came from the Everyday Enchantment Designer Series Paper which is a free Sale a Bration item with a $50 purchase (now on until Mar. 31, 2012). The DSP also comes with matching ribbons and brads (love...)

Check out the twine- it is Soft Sky and it is just too cute. It adds so much to a project without overpowering it, if you know what I mean. It comes in all the 5 In Colors 2011-2013 colors and they are in the Occasions Mini.

Next up is another card.

The focal point of this card above also comes from the new Occasions Mini. It is called Side Notes Attic Boutique. It is a pack of premade die cuts that make a great addition to your crafting projects and not to mention, short cut and time saver for you.

I finished up the card with tiny hearts from the Heart to Heart punch. Sentiment is from Teeny Tiny Wishes stamp set.

Happy Valentine's Day crafting to you...

Liza

Cheerful Treat DSP

Hello there, crafting friends...

You probably have these Designer Series Paper in your stash from the hostess merchandise list in the Idea Book & Catalog, it is called Cheerful Treat DSP and it does have cheerful yummy colors so I am using it :) I hope you will, too...

Simple and quick as a background with an edging of the Border Lace punch, a strip of pleated Concord Crush 1/2" Stitched Poly Ribbon and a Melon Mambo button.

Another one with Bashful Blue card base and 2 layers of background paper from the same DSP pack.

Love that sentiment from Petite Pairs stamp set paired with the Four Frames stamp set (and then punched out with the Decorative Label Punch). Love all these short cuts :)

I hope you like it.

Happy stamping,

Liza
