Flowers that never fade

Hellooo, blogging friends... here is a simple little card with the Friends Never Fade set that I had sprayed with the Smooch Spritz.

The card base is Marina Mist, I think it is a lovely blue shade :)

I hope you enjoy.

Cupcakes

Good morning... here are more cards that Coline and I made while she was here :) Cupcakes are always good to have in my stash and an excuse to use my new In Color markers :) This one is Pear Pizzazz and Rich Razzleberry. The 1 3/4" circle punch is layered with the new 2 3/8" scallop circle punch. Finished with paper piercing.

More cupcake :) This happy color combo of Melon Mambo, Daffodil Delight, Tempting Turquoise is also from the Color Coach. Love that tool!! Brads are from Marlene.

Thanks for stopping by... happy creating to you.

Hydrangea

Good morning... my friend Coline came to visit from Beijing so of course, we fit in some play time :) This is one of the cards we made. The color combo is plucked in from Color Coach: Pink Pirouette, Early Espresso and Baja Breeze. Love it!! and love that Color Coach!!

I broke open my new Vintage Wallpaper textured impressions folder for the background. So elegant! The hydrangea was stamped in Early Espresso. And then distressed the panel with my scissors blade.

I hope you are having a relaxing weekend.... thank you for visiting.

Hugs,
Liza

FTL 98

Hi there, blogging friends... this is the sketch from FTL98 here. I am slowly catching up with crafting again after some absence, which feels great!! Here is the sketch below.

This second card, I made it exactly as p. 113 at the 2010-11 IB&C like Natasha said :) My color combos are: Cherry Cobbler, Marina Mist, Daffodil Delight and a strip of Pear Pizzazz DSP. I simply stamped the crown in 3 different colors and punched them out with 1 3/8" punch.

I hope you like it. Thank you for peeking in today.

Hugs,
Liza

Recipe: (all by SU!)
Cardstock and paper: Kraft, Whisper White, Cherry Cobbler, Greenhouse Gala DSP
Stamp sets: Artistic Etching, Occasional Quotes
Ink: Marina Mist, Cherry Cobbler, Daffodil Delight, Early Espresso
Tools: Scallop Edge, 1 3/8" square punches
Everything else: twine, Chocolate Chip corduroy button, Old Olive satin ribbon, Stampin' Dimensionals

Hydrangea

Hi there... here is a new level 1 hostess set called Because I Care. It has this big hydrangea stamp which is very useful to stamp a quick focal point, which is big in my book... quick, that is.

This one is in Rose Red and I added splash of Mellow Moss (retired) marker with my Spritz Tool. This is for a friend who is now in the hospital.

This one is left over scraps from other project on a Rose Red card base and the new 2 3/8" scallop circle XL punch from Stampin' Up! which will accommodate larger stamp and layer 1 3/4" circle punch.

Hope you enjoy today. Thanks for stopping by.

Hugs,
Liza

FTL 99

Good morning!! I broke open some new goodies from the SU! new catalog... the card base is a new color called Daffodil Delight with a matching Daffodil Delight ink, which I stamped the leaves with. A cheery yellow :) The strip is brown is a new color called Early Espresso, deep and yummy. And the flower is using a new red called Cherry Cobbler.

The sentiment is from a new set called Perfect Punches. That birthday sentiment perfectly matches the Wide Oval punch.

My layout is from FTL99 here. Great to be catching up with the blog land again :)

Here is the recipe: (all by SU!)
Cardstock and paper: Daffodil Delight, Whisper White, Early Espresso, Kraft, Island Oasis DSP.
Stamp sets: Tropical Party, Perfect Punches
Ink: Old Olive, Early Espresso, Cherry Cobbler, Daffodil Delight
Tools: corner rounder, Wide Oval punches
Everything else: Stampin' Dimensionals, twine

Summer...

Hello!! We are back from vacation and it has been so long since I updated my blog that I forgot the password :)
We had a good rest and a great family time and precious memories... but it is also good to be back home and sleep on our own beds again :) hmm...

And not to mention to sit down in my craft room again after several weeks away. Some things need to be reorganized in the craft room (can you see my head is churning with organization ideas...) and I put in a rug under my work table so now it does have a different look. I love it.
It feels great to get inky again, get back into routine and get acquainted to the new 2010-2011 Stampin' Up! Idea Book and Catalog.

This trio of cards are coming straight from the story book using Tangerine Tango as card bases. Makes for bright summer feel, right? It falls under the SU! Brights color family in the current catalog.

I am going to sit down and stamp some more now. I hope to pop in more often now that we are home. I hope you all enjoy a great summer...

Hugs,
Liza
