Baby girl thanks

Hello... how is your weekend going? I made a stack of thank you cards for our neighbor who is soon welcoming their first baby. I think these will be useful :) New paper from K&Co. Yum...

Here is another design for the stack. When it comes time, I will wrap it and send these over :)

Happy stamping to you all. Thanks for peeking...

FTL92

Good morning! Here is today's sketch over at the Clean and Simple Stamping blog which I have not participated in a while- so I am happy to be playing along today :)

This is a birthday card for a dear lady at my prayer's group. She is a very sweet mom and wife from whom I have learnt a lot and this year is a special birthday for her because her daughter flew in home from college.

So, what are you stamping today?

Thanks for peeking in...

Hugs,
Liza

Recipe: (all by SU!)
Cardstock and paper: Real Red, Whisper White, Kraft, Island Oasis DSP
Stamp sets: Tropical Party, all Holidays
Tools: Big Shot machine, Scallop Circle #2 die, 1 3/4" circle punch
Everything else: brad, Real Red grosgrain ribbon, Stampin' Dimensionals

Tropical Party

Happy weekend :) I finally sat down and played with my new Tropical Party stamp set which is in the Summer Mini and the Island Oasis DSP that matches the stamp set. Love these bright cheerful colors and I think this is so appropriate for someone who lives in a tropical country, like me :) Haha...

This card is for a fellow stamper that I have just met recently. So, I hope she likes it :)

My card base is Pumpkin Pie. The coconut was stamped in Tempting Turquoise.

Now, while I was at it, Hannah and I stamped a whole stack of plain white napkins with the same coconut image. My husband is having a work party at our house, so these napkins will grace the party and set the mood for the event :)

Happy stamping everyone... enjoy...

Liza

Manhattan Flower die

Hi there... I made this card (with Birthday wishes sentiment on it) for my sister in law who likes purple- that I did not have a chance to take a photo of. So I made another one :) Here it is...

Turns out that Pale Plum and Chocolate Chip is a beautiful combo. I love it...

Happy stamping to you all... what are you making today?

Pedaling Past

Hello there :) Here is my first time using the cute Pedaling Past stamp set that is in the Summer Mini. It has images of different kinds of bikes which I like, because a few of my family members have recently rediscovered biking so I am sure this will be useful.

This little tricycle was stamped with Basic Gray ink. Layered on Basic Gray star and Sahara Sand circle. I found an appropriate K&Co patterned paper to go with it and finished it off with a sentiment strip and gray button. Voila :)

Happy stamping to you all...

Red & black

Good morning blogging friends! We are back from our weekend trip to visit the grandparents and bringing the kids and my husband to see the place where I grew up. We had a chance to visit old street food places that I used to like to eat :) And happy to say that my little ones bring happiness to my older relatives: parents, aunts, uncles...

I made these red and black cards (the black berries patterned paper is old Making Memories one) last week as the stash that I brought to the Australian and New Zealand Association bazaar (kind of like a craft fair, except here they call it a bazaar).

Here is what I made with left over paper strips. Not my usual color combos but I kinda like it going outside the norm :)

Happy creating to you all and have a good week ahead. It will be a super short one for us here because it will be a local public holiday and Memorial Day.

Hugs,
Liza

Wedding cards

Morning, blogging friends... :) here are a couple more of wedding cards. In various pastel yummy colors.

This morning our family are flying to Surabaya to spend time with my parents for the weekend. We will fly back on Sunday evening.
This card above is using Bermuda Bay card stock mat. (Farewell, Bermuda Bay...) I love this color so I have stocked up and got some Bermuda Bay card stock for my stash supply.

That's all for today, folks. I hope your weekend is a great one. Happy stamping...

Liza

Newlyweds...

Good morning!! I was at a craft fair 2 days ago and I made a batch of these larger sized 5x7" cards. Here are a couple among them...

The one above is a special order of wedding cards for people that will attend weddings this summer :) I have this large paper flower in my stash. I paired it with Pale Plum card stock mat and last year's Certainly Celery Sale A Bration DSP. The white ribbon is the pretty Organza ribbon. Very wedding-y :) 2 cream brads from Marlene finished off my card.

Here is a birthday one in earthy color. The card stock mat is Old Olive. A color that I reach to often :) Sentiment is from the Watercolor Trio set (it has beautiful font) and the well-used swirl stamp is from Season of Joy set. It has got to be the single stamp that I use the most whenever a blank space needs some filling :)

Thank you for stopping by... happy creating to you all.

Hugs,
Liza

Graduation cards...

Good morning! These are 2 special order graduation cards :) I am playing around with the Write Stuff Specialty DSP. The colors are Ruby Red, Soft Suede and So Saffron and they work for both girl or boy.

I love these textured card stock die cuts. I stamped random stars on it to add texture. The sentiment and stars are from "Starring You" set.

Thanks for peeking in today! Happy stamping and creating to you.

Liza

Wreath card

Happy Saturday!! I pulled out the Watercolor Trio stamp set from the Summer Mini catalog and created this special card using a "wreath technique". Create the wreath focal point around a punched circle (from scratch paper). Love the result.

I then simply added ribbon and brads to finish. My card base is the lovely Pink Pirouette that is almost out from my stash but will be coming back soon!! Yipee...

Happy stamping, everyone!!

Hugs,
Liza

Falling Leaves

Hello, friends... how is your day so far?

I pulled out my Falling Leaves stamp set for a masculine look. Looking to use the leaves for something other than Fall related projects. I especially love that polka dot leaf! Stamping it makes me happy :)

Happy stamping to you, too.

A tree

Morning to you all! Here is a simple clean looking stamped tree image. Everything is with Old Olive. I think I find that I reach out for this color often :)

That button is a wood one that Marlene found for me a long time ago. I am working my way with them :)

I hope your day is off to a good start today. Thank you for peeking in.

Vintage book pages

Hello friends... good morning! I have seen the beautiful creations other crafters make with vintage book pages, especially inspiring is from the talented Dawn McVey. Where to get those in Indonesia, right? My friend Ariani found them and brought them to me!! (Thank you thank you thank you, dear!!) the only problem is that I did not have the heart to cut up the first 10 or so that she brought because they make a series of vintage children books. It has beautiful vintage pictures in them and having 2 kids learning to read right now, makes me want to keep them!!

But one day, Ariani brought an old tattered one that I can cut up happily!! So here are a couple of them here.

Thank you for stopping by today.

Liza
