Stockings...

Hello, crafting friends...

Just want to show you what I made with the cute stockings tags from yesterday's post... I added a jewel to finish off the tag in each of them.

Love those bright colors... Thank you for peeking in and have a great weekend.

FTL 109

Good Saturday morning, crafting friends... So happy to have a chance to peek into the latest FTL109 sketch from the Clean and Simple stamping blog and participate :) Life has been so busy lately that I keep missing out...

My colors today are Poppy Parade, Pear Pizzazz and Crumb Cake. I started with a Poppy Parade card base, layered with a Poppy Parade DSP, and then added a layer of home made patterned paper of Pear Pizzazz snowflakes.

My cute stockings sentiment comes from the Gifted stamp set that was stamped in Poppy Parade on Crumb Cake.

I finished off with a jewel and a linen thread bow. Ugh... I just realized from the photo that my paper ribbon is crooked... sorry!

So, thank you for peeking in today. I am off to enjoy the others creation on this sketch...

Hugs,
Liza

Karolina's Diaper cake

Good morning, crafting friends... today I would like to pop in and share what my friend Karolina has made... She heard me mentioning "diaper cake" when we were last visiting and I showed her this post of a diaper cake I made for Coline (waving hi to Coline).

Then, next thing she showed me is this beautiful "cake" creation. She has used this to bless a cousin who recently had a baby girl.

Here is some words from her:
The cake topper is a pair of shoes, the big flowers are made of face towels, the small ones are baby handcovers, and I also used the pink polka dots ribbons that you gave me:). I decided to cover the diapers with lace because they have prints in them. I bought Pampers diapers, not huggies .....I forget Pampers have prints:) It was ages ago since I bought diapers...:)

Thank you for sharing Karolina and I wish we didn't live so far away! Actually, not far in distance, just traffic!! It has been a blessing and privilege to get to know you and your family in the past year and I am so glad God put us together! (hugs!!)

Thank you to you all for peeking in today. I hope you enjoy Karolina's creation too and perhaps inspire you to make one of your own :)

Blessings,
Liza

Birdie and flower...

Hello there, everyone... Happy Tuesday...

Here are the last of my scrap projects. I am still far away from tackling my scrap bin :) Ah but I am ready to play with something else now... Love those cute papers, this one is a mix of everything: K & Co, October Afternoon, Cosmo Cricket ...

My grandmother is out of the hospital! I don't have to go back and forth anymore. She needs home care now so there is still a lot of work taking care of her, which especially falls on my uncle and aunt who live with her. Bless their hearts!

Hope you enjoy...

Sweetie Pie

Hello there friends... A pink and brown color combo always turn out pretty, isn't it? It is my favorite... This is Blushing Bride cardstock, Blushing Bride ribbon and matched with scrap Imaginisce paper (yep, these are still projects from tackling my scrap bin).

Is that your favorite color combo too?

Hugs to you my friends...

Leaves...

Hello there... how is your week so far?

Ahh... it is that time of the year for those of you in the northern hemisphere... the leaves are changing colors and falling. Not here :) but I made a card with this paper from Cosmo Cricket and the Sizzix Leaf die.

I love those leaves images. So pretty...

More Bling...

Hello, there crafting friends... I made a few money/ gift card holders with these pretty Kiyoshi paper from Basic Grey and then I made a card with the left over paper.

Here it is...
For the first time, I used my new Dotted Scallop Ribbon Border, which I lined at the back of the patterned paper. I can now make any color of "ribbon" that I want... :)

I hope you like it. Thank you for peeking in...

Using up those scraps....

Good morning, everyone! Ugh... so sorry to be MIA for a while. I guess life takes over since I last posted. My dear grandma is in the hospital so I have been back and forth ever since.

It is Eidul Fitri today in Indonesia, so Selamat Hari Raya to those of you who celebrate :) This is the rarity that happens once a year when Jakarta has no traffic!! Gosh... you know we will enjoy the peace on the road this week! Traffic was a nightmare for the whole month of Ramadan as everybody is trying to go shopping and finding gifts for their loved ones.

I see lately that my scrap bin has been accumulating so I need to tackle by challenging myself to use up those scraps. Scrap paper, scrap die cuts, scrap ribbon...

This teal grosgrain ribbon is a gift from Marlene. Thanks Marlene, it is a joy to use as you can see! I paired them with either Taken with Teal or Bermuda Bay, depending on what strikes my fancy that day... hehe...

Here are some more... teal ribbon from Marlene, blings are a farewell present from my friend Senny when I left Beijing. I find that I have not used them up in a while so I promise to put them to good use.

These cute papers are from Imaginisce, which I paired with the heart stamp from I (heart) Hearts.
Thanks everyone for stopping by today. Enjoy your Hari Raya holiday!!

Hugs,
Liza
