Wall Art I

Happy Saturday :) I have been thinking about wall art projects for a long time, so glad to be able to work on it :)

The new Sweet Pea Designer Series Paper in the Occasions Mini Catalog is so sweet. I have been admiring it, when I thought, why not display it :) I love the cute little bird above. All I did was add a button and linen tread on the largest flower. Here is another one below:

The sentiment is from one of the Sale-a-Bration sets, Whimsical Words. And then, I added the bird and branch from the new bird punch.

Here is a full picture.

Recipes: (all by SU!)
Paper and cardstock: Sweet Pea DSP, Sahara Sand, Chocolate Chip, Pupmkin Pie, Rose Red
Stamp set: Whimsical Words
Ink: Whisper White
Tools: Wide Oval, Curly Label, Extra Large 2-step Bird, 1" circle punches
Everything else: Stampin' Dimensionals, brads, linen thread, Kiwi Kiss button (ret.), Button Latte, Ikea frame

Laughter, Joy, Happiness...

Good morning! I made this matching candy bar wrapper and card yesterday for my friend Lidya's birthday. I hope she likes it :) Love that sentiment and the way it curves. It comes from the Best Wishes & More stamp set.

This is my stacked die cut flowers, cut with the Big Shot and Stampin' Up! Blossom Party die.

This is the card only. Card base is Naturals Ivory, which has little "natural-looking" dots to it that add texture. It is also thicker than Very Vanilla, thus making a sturdier card base.
This is the candy bar wrapper. Just simply added the wide belly band over it to show off the large flower pattern and stamped the sentiment.

I also made this slightly different card with a Kraft card base and added a button slide as flower center.

I hope you have enjoyed your week so far. We are spending time as a family. My husband took 2 days off work.

Thank you for stopping by.

Hugs,
Liza

Happy Homes

Hi! Created this set of cards with a single patterned paper yesterday as a gift for my husband's co worker. Loved these colorful homes :)

Here it is one by one...

Happy creating to all of you! I am off to clean up my desk :)

As the deer...

Panteth for the water, so my soul longeth after Thee
You alone are my heart's desire and I long to worship Thee...

My heart is with Philip and Mega and their daughters as they mourn the going home of their 3 year-old daughter, Clida. As I prayed for them, I was reminded of the deer song above. Then, I remembered I have a deer stamp, hence my decision on the card. Not an easy one to make and not a sentiment stamp that I wanted to ink.

I also made a batch of matching thank you cards. I hope it will be just a little something that might be useful. I wrapped the cards in brown rice paper and tied it with light blue ribbon.

I gotta go now. I wish you all a good day and thank you for stopping by.

Recipe (all by SU! unless mentioned)
Cardstock and paper: Bashful Blue, Very Vanilla, Chatterbox dp
Stamp sets: Thoughts and Prayers, Forest Friends
Ink: Chocolate Chip
Everything else: Chocolate Chip grosgrain ribbon, Wide Oval punch, button, Stampin' Dimensionals, Scallop Edge punch, 3/16" corner rounder
