Diaper cake

My first diaper cake, which I learnt from here. Dawn Easton made the cutest one, didn't see? I had picked up a cake topper the week before, so the cake color combo goes with the topper. Pink, white and red. Hence, my paper and ribbon selection. This is for my friend Coline who is having a baby girl soon. This "cake" has been sitting on my desk corner for a week, I keep thinking something is missing from this cake but I can not figure out what is missing. LOL... so here is the photo.

I made a matching card with the scrap paper.

Then, I made more cards with the remaining of the scrap paper.

Thank you for stopping by. I hope you like this. If you have suggestions on how I can embellish it more/ add something to the cake, leave a comment. I will try again the next time an occasion arises for another one :) Have a happy creating day, you all.

This is adorable!! Maybe some lace somewhere would make it more girly? Like eyelet??? I really think it's awesome and everybody is going to go nuts when they see it!
