Color ThrowDown 82

Hi there... This color combo is from the CTD blog which I learnt from LeAnne's beautiful blog. The color grabbed me because it is outside my comfort zone. So I am trying something new today. My Not Quite Navy ink pad is almost new :)

I am using the Write Stuff Specialty DSP with its large Old Olive textured die cut flower, layered the Not Quite Navy butterfly on it.

Here is the result, which turned out to be what I have in mind for a girl friend who is not a girly girl type. So even though this card has butterflies, flower and pinking edges on it, it is not so frilly... if you know what I mean.

Thanks for stopping by. I hope you all have a great day.

Recipe: (all by SU!)
Cardstock and paper: The Write Stuff specialty DSP, Nat. Ivory, Not Quite Navy
Stamp set: Flight of the Butterfly
Ink: Not Quite Navy
Tools: Butterfly, Pinking Hearts, circle punches
Everything else: brads, Stampin' Dimensionals
