Happy Mother's Day..

This is what I created over the weekend, an accordion mini album for Mother's Day. We will make this for a class this week with my friend/ fellow demo, Huey. It will be fun! The empty pages are for photos or notes. And there is a pocket with a tag tucked inside to write a note/ insert a gift card.
I started with 3 pieces of Baja Breeze card base which are adhered together to make an accordion as above. This makes it slightly thicker so that it can be displayed on a desk, for example. And then embellish accordingly.
The pocket was made from a coin envelope (available from office supply store) that was cut into 2.5" height. And cover with patterned paper and embellish. I find that this makes a great short cut rather than making the pocket yourself.
Another time-saver is using the Top Note die as a "frame" for your stamped images for this project. Then glue the ribbon last so that it can be closed.

Thank you for stopping by! I hope you like it.
