Soft Summer ideas

Here are 2 different ideas with the Soft Summer stamp set that is available right now at the Stampin' Up! Occasions Mini catalog. My friend Huey, a fellow SU! demo lets me play with her set this week. (Thanks, Huey!)

The first card is a Clean and Simple Challenge (CAS15)- which is black, white and a Bold Bright color here.

This second card below is the same image but colored in with Ruby Red marker and water colored with Aqua Painter. I inked up the edges in Going Gray and distressed the card stock edges to give it an "old" look.

And this last one is a green idea- reusing an old can and repurposing it as a home for markers and crayons for my 3 year old daughter. It is super fast to do, just cut 4x10" piece of patterned paper of your choice and glue the edges. You can embellish it if you want to or you can make this as a set of matching note cards and pen holder for a gift. Wouldn't that be fun? I am putting this idea on my "to try" list.

Thanks for stopping by. Hope you like it.
