Project Soaps

Good morning, crafting friends... My daughter turns 5 today and for the past week the wheels in the my head have been whirling on what to plan around that day :)

Hannah wants to celebrate the day with her preschool friends and teachers that she loves so much. This will be the last birthday celebration before she moves on to Kindergarten next school year.

We know we will have a cake to share with everyone at school and next I am thinking of what to give as little favors for her little friends and the teachers.

My first thought was a wrapped candy bar for her favor but then, I thought these kids' parents would probably prefer not to have more sugar for the children :) So, I am mulling it over again, until the idea of the bar soap came :) A ha!! A baby bar soap is easy to wrap and make pretty, yet useful and practical.

So I dubbed this my Project Soaps. I wrapped each soft smelling baby soap with the Sweet Stitches DSP. Then, I packed 3 of them together inside a plastic bag. A little hand-stamped tag with her initial and a Melon Mambo butterfly is the finishing off.

Here is a selection of them. These pretty papers make me happy! I make 25 of these packages so everything is kept pretty simple.

Next is these little packages for the teachers. 3 soaps stacked together, wrapped in Springtime Vintage DSP. Tied with 1/4" Rose Red grosgrain ribbon. Love these feminine soft colors together....

Finished off with hand stamped tiny little tags like this. Using the tiny blooms in Baby Blossoms stamp set and a "for you" sentiment.

And of course, while I was at it, I wrapped more little soaps for all the ladies in my prayer group. Ha!! So, here is what their breakfast plate looked like.

I think these bar soaps idea is quick, easy and pretty- this will probably be my go to idea when I need a quick something. And all with supplies already in my stash. The happiest part for me is to be able to use all these pretty papers.

My prayer girls loved these, so that makes me happy too :)

Thank you for peeking in today, crafting friends. I hope you enjoyed your visit.

Hugs,

Liza
