A Day to Remember...

Hi everyone! Thanks for stopping by...

I made this card because I wanted to experiment making a row of "medalions" from the Sweet Sampler stamp set. I like the result. I think I can make it longer and wider next time as my DIY patterned paper. I started with a Chocolate Chip card base. Cut a Baja Breeze polka dot textured patterned paper (from Parisian Breeze DSP) slightly smaller than my card base. Scallop the bottom edge. Tied Chocolate Chip ribbon around. So that makes my color combo as: Chocolate Chip, Baja Breeze, Very Vanilla.

I stamped a row of medallions on Very Vanilla cardstock with the help of Stamp a Majig. Double matted it with Chocolate Chip and Baja Breeze for contrast. Note: cut the Baja Breeze cardstock slightly wider to allow for eyelet border. I added 2 brads on the right for interest. Mounted the whole panel on Stampin' Dimensionals. I then finished off with a sentiment punched with large oval and scallop oval and mounted on more Stampin' Dimensionals for a 3D look.

That's it. I hope you like it.

Recipes (all by SU!)
Cardstock and paper: Chocolate Chip, Baja Breeze, Very Vanilla, Parisian Breeze DSP

Ink: Baja Breeze, Chocolate Chip
The sweet stuff (aka. accesories): Chocolate Chip 5/8" grosgrain ribbon, brads, eyelet border, scallop edge, large oval, scalloped oval punches, Stampin' Dimensionals.

Bingo! My favourite colours combination! I hope to get more simple pokka dots patter paper. It is very useful!
