Happy Butterfly

Today's weekly sketch at SCS 223 is this
Fun sketch, but it took me so long to come up with this card :)
I wanted to play with a color that I am not normally using, like Pink Passion! (this card by Angie Tieman inspired me to use this color and use my new Beautiful Butterfly die somehow :)

I made my own patterned paper again with a piece of Pink Passion cardstock. Stamped polka dot punches in white then over stamped butterflies in Pink Passion. Layered with white eyelet borders. For the focal point, I stamped the sentiment and little flowers. Double matted it. Die cut the butterfly with my Big Shot machine. Stamped white polka dots on the butterfly. Topped it with button and linen thread. Tied ribbon and mounted the whole panel on dimensionals.

Thanks for stopping by. I hope you like it.

Recipes: (all supplies by SU!)
Cardstock: Pink Passion, Whisper White, Baja Breeze
Stamp sets: Flight of the Butterfly, Polka Dot Punches
Ink: Pink Passion, Whisper White, Basic Black
The sweet stuff (aka. accesories): Big Shot machine, Beautiful Butterfly die, Baja Breeze striped grosgrain ribbon, eyelet border, scalloped square, 1 1/4" square punches, Button Bouquet, linen thread, dimensionals
