Easter Wishes

Spring break and Easter week is here. I am showing you a couple of cards I made for Easter.
This was using Polka Dot Punches set from Sale a Bration 2009. After deciding on my color combo (kiwi kiss, pale plum, perfect plum), I made my own patterned paper. Stamping the different images with different colors. Then I matted my DIY patterned paper on pale plum cardstock and mounted it onto my card base. It is finished off with kiwi kiss ribbon and kiwi kiss button next to the sentiment combo.

Recipe for this card:
Cardstock: whisper white, pale plum, perfect plum
Ink: kiwi kiss, pale plum, perfect plum, basic gray
Stamp set: Polka Dot Punches, All Holidays (sentiment)
Sweet touches: kiwi kiss grosgrain striped ribbon, button bouquet, linen thread, 1 1/4" circle, eyelet border punches, dimensionals, curly punch.

This was made for CC211 (a weekly color challenge over at http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/) and CAS07 (Clean and Simple cards here http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/forums/showthread.php?t=427526)

The focal image is from Very Versatile set which is in the SU! Occasions Mini catalog. Thanks for stopping by and I hope you like these.

Recipe:
Cardstock and paper: baja breeze, whisper white, pretty in pink patterns pack (retired SU hostess set).
Ink: basic gray, kiwi kiss
Stamps: All Holidays (sentiment), Very Versatile
The sweet stuff (aka. accesories): eyelet border punch, 1 3/4" circle punch, dimensionals, baja breeze striped grosgrain ribbon, button bouquet, linen thread.
